Meet Dr. Nelson

Dr. Bryan P. Nelson, D.D.S., M.S.

Dr. Nelson graduated from Carroll College in Helena, Montana with a degree in biology and chemistry. He earned his doctorate and masters degree from the University of Minnesota in 1991 and 1993, respectively. In 1990, he received the Allan TH Bluthm Award for Character, Leadership and Scholarship and has been an honored board member of the Metropolitan Denver Dental Society and the Colorado Peer Review Board. August 2008 marks the 15th year Dr. Nelson has been practicing the specialty of orthodontics.

Dr. Nelson has treated thousands of patients. He has been recognized by Invisalign, as one of their prestigious Top 100 providers in the world. He consistently incorporates new technology into his practice in order to improve quality and shorten the length of time patients have to be in braces. Dr. Nelson also utilizes Precision Bracket Placement to facilitate faster and more accurate tooth movement, shorten treatment time, decrease pain and improve the quality of the final result. He is currently working on a number of patents to help further this goal.

Dr. Nelson incorporates in the practice his belief of treating people with love, kindness and compassion as outlined in the Bible. It is his philosophy to treat the people first and their orthodontic problems second. He wants to not only create beautiful smiles, but also enhance lives. He has been happily married to Dr. Blanca Lares-Nelson, a general dentist/anesthesiologist, since 1991. She is the strength and source of love for their family. He is the proud father of son Kyan and daughter Khiana. Both kids are daily reminders that miracles happen every day. They are great teachers that the great things in life are the simple things. Discovering new things every day and being in awe should be our goal, even as adults. Being a husband and father is his greatest blessing.
